Introduction

das-FaceBond platform processes images and recognizes people's faces in order to perform biometric operations on them. The identification (1:N) and clustering (N:M) operations are available using Veridas Face Recognition engine.

The face recognition engine developed by Veridas has been evaluated and positively ranked by NIST and it is the subject of continuous development and improvement efforts. Details of the algorithm performance are shown on the Face Biometry Performance Report

das-FaceBond service has been built to offer identification and clustering operations over galleries containing any number of faces. Each face corresponds to one image containing a person’s face together with its associated metadata. Face comparisons are performed by means of an instance of our das-Face service.
