Introduction¶
XpressID is a Plug&Play Identity Verification Service provided by Veridas and offered as a software as a service (SaaS).
This service can be easily integrated in any web or native application in a short time and provides identity verification use cases based on document verification (ID documents, Driving Licenses, etc.) and facial biometry with NIST certified technology by using a selfie photo and a selfie video.
For the identity verification process XpressID integrates the document, selfie and video capture technologies developed by Veridas.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- Major versions represent a big change from the previous major version, providing more capabilities and potential. At the same time, moving from a major version means a break in backward compatibility that must be managed. Please make sure to perform proper tests in development environments to ensure that everything is working as expected.
- This version (v4.0) utilizes API v3 and currently applies only to the WEB platform. Native XpressID (iOS and Android) still use version v3.8, which employs API v2.
