What's new?

This section presents the changes that have been introduced in the update of boiDas 1.46 version:

  • New installations come with four default reject reasons: missing obverse, missing reverse, document without a visible face and coercion by a third party. This rejections are migrated only when there are not existing reject reasons.
  • Default reject reasons are shown in the reviewer's language, in Settings, in the reject window, in the comments and in the exported PDF. They are reloaded when the reviewer changes the language.
  • The reject reasons API (/api/v1/reason) returns a new field, display_reason, with the reason ready to be shown in the user's language. The reason field keeps the stored value, which for the default reject reasons is a key such as reject_reason.missing_obverse. More details at Reject reason API documentation.
  • OCR corrections are saved automatically while the reviewer types, and the Edit, Save and Cancel buttons are no longer shown. If a correction cannot be saved, the reviewer is informed with a message under each field. More details at Resources/User Guide.
  • An OCR field that the reviewer empties on purpose is kept empty, both in the validation detail and in the exported PDF.
  • New keyboard shortcuts in the validation detail: Ctrl+A to approve, Ctrl+R to reject, Ctrl+I to mark as inconclusive and Ctrl+P to return to pending (only if return to Pending is enabled). Esc closes the open dialog. More details at Resources/User Guide.
  • The application starts even if the log integrity key is left empty. In that case logs are not signed, CCN mode is disabled if it was requested, and a warning is written to the log.
  • Additional performance, security and internal improvements.
