What's new?

This section presents the changes that have been introduced in the update of the Document SDK v6.10

Listed improvements

  • Add descriptionColor, iconColorEnd and borderRadius under styles.components.snackbar, plus their *Inverse equivalents for the inverse state.

Deprecated in this release

  • Events:
    • VD_detectionTimeout: the deprecated variant has been removed, it now always dispatches with type: "error".
    • VD_loseFocus: the deprecated variant has been removed, it now always dispatches with type: "info".

Attention

This release is not backward compatible with previous major versions.
You will need to update your configuration files, assets, and event listeners accordingly.

New changes

  • Reduced the size of the SDK bundle.
  • Add descriptionColor, iconColorEnd and borderRadius snackbar style tokens, plus their *Inverse equivalents for the inverse state.
  • Fix a native browser tooltip appearing when hovering the snackbar or modal close button.
  • Fix closeIconAltText not being applied to the capture modals' close button.
  • Minor bugfixes and improvements.
  • Events: - VD_detectionTimeout: the deprecated variant has been removed — it now always dispatches with type: "error". - VD_loseFocus: the deprecated variant has been removed — it now always dispatches with type: "info".

Deprecations in 2027.2

The texts.review.mediaAltText text is deprecated and will be removed in release 2027.2. Use the new side-specific texts instead:

  • texts.review.obverse.mediaAltText: alt text for the image of the front of the document.
  • texts.review.reverse.mediaAltText: alt text for the image of the back of the document.

Until then, if you have customized texts.review.mediaAltText, its value is still applied to both review screens, unless you also configure the side-specific texts.
