This section presents the changes that have been introduced in the update of the IDV.

DEPRECATION NOTICE

We are going to deprecate the node PD_IdentificationNumber_Out in Italy (IT_DrivingLicense2000, IT_DrivingLicense_2013) it has been renamed to DD_DocumentNumber_Out. This change will take place in the 2025.8.

VERSION NOTICE

These updates are part of XpressID V2.1, our latest version designed to help you meet global accessibility requirements while delivering a faster, more intuitive user experience.

To ensure you benefit from everything we’re building — including performance upgrades, new features, and ongoing compliance improvements — we strongly encourage you to migrate to V2.1, as all future enhancements will be developed exclusively in this version.

Added

  • Government check in Peru via RENIEC. More information can be found here.
  • Add new node DD_DocumentNumber_Out node in Italy (IT_DrivingLicense2000, IT_DrivingLicense_2013) to correctly extract document number (it was previously returned as PD_IdentificationNumber_Out, which remains for backward compatibility, deprecation in progress).
  • Add support for new documents only with extended coverage activated.
  • Internal improvements.
  • Improved name extraction in Spanish documents where users have more than two given names (ES_IDCard_2006, ES_IDCard_2015, ES_IDCard_2021, ES_Passport_YYYY).
  • Improved overall MRZ reading performance across all document types.
  • Improve general reading in Mexico (MX_IDCard_2019) when the document has been issued outside Mexico.

Fixed

  • Fix lastnames extraction in Peru (PE_ResidencePermit_2021)
  • Fix nationality extraction in Argentina (AR_IDCard_2009, AR_IDCard_2012, AR_IDCard_2020) and Paraguay (PY_IDCard_2009)

Deprecated

  • "ValidasScoreLifeProof" score from "doc+video" flow won't be returned anymore.
