What's new?

This section presents the changes introduced in NFC SDK v1.0.0 (iOS-Swift).

Attention

The SDK requires iOS 16.0 or later and a physical iPhone. The host app must declare the NFC capability and the related Info.plist keys. See Specifications.

New SDK

  • NFC chip reading: first release of the SDK that reads the chip of identity documents with the device's NFC.
  • Authenticity checks of the chip and of the data read from it.
  • Document data form, with field validation and help to find the document number, or prefill to skip it when your app already knows the data.
  • Selectable result fields: the result only returns the data fields listed in keys, the same keys used by the Veridas services (nfcKeys).
  • Retry handling, with feedback screens for every recoverable error and a configurable number of retries.
  • Customizable texts, images and styles, in English and Spanish by default.
