Observability & Operations

Veridas operates VeriSaaS Cloud with a dedicated team that monitors the platform, reacts to incidents and manages every change in a controlled way.

Monitoring

VeriSaaS Cloud is monitored both from the outside and from the inside:

  • External monitoring: availability and response time of the public endpoints, as experienced by customers.
  • Internal monitoring: infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) and application metrics (requests, errors, latency).

A combination of cloud-native and specialized observability tools collects metrics, logs and traces from both cloud providers in a centralized way.

Logging

All VeriSaaS services send their logs to a unified and centralized logging platform. Logs help to detect and investigate operational problems and security events, and access to them is restricted to authorized Veridas staff.

Alerting

Alerts are raised automatically when a metric, log pattern or security event indicates a problem. They are delivered to the Veridas operations team, including an on-call team, so they can react as quickly as possible.

Change management

  • All infrastructure is defined as code and deployed through automated pipelines.
  • New versions of VeriSaaS services are released according to a published Releases Calendar, first in SANDBOX and then in LIVE.
  • Customers are informed in advance of relevant changes.
